spring break and bed rest?

Good Morning! well its been a crazy week! First of all it has been spring break for Madison! yay! we had been looking forward to spending the week to just hang out and do some fun stuff....... well that all changed when I got really sick with my blood.pressure one night this week I literally had the worse head ache of my life over in the night. I checked my blood. pressure early that morning and my blood. p was through the roof. So I put a call into my doctor and they said I need to come on in to the office. To make a long story short they are testing me for Preeclampasia. If a person has it the only thing to help is bed rest or to have the baby. I will be 34 weeks Monday I still have six more weeks till my due date so doctor put me on bed rest till    I go back to the doctor Monday to get results and to check her measurements. I guess when you hear bed rest you think wow that's going to be nice to do simply do nothing! WRONG! you look around and see all the things you need to be doing! You think of all the places you could be! I miss my job :(  I have been blessed with a family that I have worked for ever since Madison was in PreK. Don't get me wrong I love a good break. But I always like being able to get up and do my own thing as well. Easter is this weekend! I love Easter I love all the pastel colors! Madison got a early Easter gift I guess you could call it from her nana and papa! REAL BUNNIES! 2  of them as a matter of fact! Madison has named them Bella and Mr. Whiskers.Grandparents! that's all I have to say lol. Well I guess my Easter will be at home this year! so feel free to blog! I need all the entertainment I can get!

8 weeks to go!

Today I went in for my doc visit I have 8 weeks to go! Everything is looking good Miss Allie Kate was all in a ball today so we did not get any good ultrasound pictures oh well we will see her in a few weeks no big deal!We were talking about how that looks so uncomfortable to be all balled up like that..Of course that's all she has ever known as my doctor reminded me. As for Madison these days.. she past all her multiplication tables today thank the lord we do not have to study those anymore! Plus Madison informed me that they are DONE with spelling words for the school year!! woooo hooo! I know all you mom's so understand  my excitement on that! State testing is coming up soon. The CRCT test is a week long test that is kind of stressful for the kids now. They have changed the standards alot since I was in school. Now students have to pass the test in 3rd and 5th grade in order to move up to the next grade. School has for sure changed alot! Madison is on spring break as of next week. We are looking forward to that for sure. Not sure what our plans are but we want to do something fun for her that week. This weather is just amazing! I missed my flip flops so bad this winter I'm so glad we have reunited! I do this every year as soon as I pack up our winter stuff there will be a major cold front move in! you watch and see!  Anyways enjoy this fabulous weather while it last!

10 WEEKS TO GO!

Went to my OBGYN yesterday and everything is looking good she weighs in at 3.6oz right now and is head down! hopefully she will stay that way! We are so excited! Madison is on a count down... well she also is on a count down for school  just as much! Allie Kate is due May 21st and the last day of school is May 25th so very close together. I'm thankful that it worked out that way at least Madison can be home over the summer with me and the baby. Plus give me time to get some sense of normal before school starts back. Heartburn is like a daily thing now it seems.. like Tums are my best friends. I love bedtime but these days I do not look forward to going to bed lol I toss and turn sleeping is not been pleasant.at all! But I have to keep in mind that I only have a short time left but on the other hand I will have NO SLEEP coming up so oh well guess that's the joy of being a mommy for now I will take my few hours of lost sleep. I told Dolan that we need to enjoy sleeping in as much as we can because those days are soon to be over! Our life is going to change so much in just 10 weeks.These last couple of weeks I would like to spend some time with Madison one on one and do some fun stuff with her before things just go plum nuts around here.  I still have a mile long to do list that I need to get on the ball with but I guess just have to take it one project at a time. Starting one project tonight in fact so I better get on it! Have a great week!

Happy 30th Bo!!

Well today was spent at my cousin Bo Guffey's 30th Birthday!! It was a surprise 80's/Mario Brothers Theme. It was a blast! Alot of people dressed up in 80's style stuff which was hilarious! I did not get a alot of pictures of people but I did snap a picture of my other cousins "tight rolled" jeans! priceless! anyways they had TVs set up with old Nintendo's and games for everyone to play like "Duck Hunt" and "Super Mario". His cake was super cute it looked like a board on Mario Brother so funny! There was also a table full of 80"s candy that we all loved back in the day like pop rocks, the fake candy cigarettes etc so good. As I looked around at "our style" wow we must have looked so ridiculous back then! sooooo loved the party Bo Happy Birthday!

 Well with tornadoes and all we survived! We got to the Wilderness lodge Friday evening with tornado warnings and flash flood watches all over the area! Everything did turn out ok, there was a bad thunderstorm that came through but other than that we weathered it out! Saturday was perfect weather go figure? We did some shopping and ate lunch at our favorite place Bubba Gump's. Wilderness was great as always but only this stay there was alot more people than last trip. Great weekend I must say! here are a few pics

Time for a break!

So this Friday we are heading out to the Wilderness Lodge I'm looking forward to a break! Seems like last couple of months have been crazy! We figure this is our last chance to get away before miss Allie Kate gets here! I have 12 MORE WEEKS!! I'm kind of getting nervous I have so much stuff on my to do list that it's not even funny. I have plenty of closets to clean out plenty of baby proofing plenty of everything but this weekend I seriously just want a weekend with out having to clean or run 50 million errands. hopefully you feel my pain?? hope to find some good deals while we are there! have a good week

Broken computer!

ok so couple of weeks ago i was cleaning and dropped our laptop. when i turned it on the screen looked like fireworks!!! its got to either be fixed or replaced! other than that things are going great other than sleep lol allie kate is a night owl seems like thats when she wants to do flips is at night!! oh well its part of being prego! madison has a valentines bash at school today so she is very excited about going. hope everyone has a great day ..... xo xo dolan
