Having Allie Kate Today!!

OK I know I SHOULD be still in bed I woke up one hour before the alarm is going to go off! I can't help it nervous have set in! because today we have are having are sweet baby girl! They for sure want you there at the crack of dawn that's for sure! Madison is so excited! she will be wearing her big sister shirt very proudly in a little while when my parents bring her down. Our life is going to change forever today..... will try to get some pics post of our sweet girls as soon as we can!
So if you think of us Sanford's today please try to send up a little prayer for us!

Allie Kate will be here this Thursday!!

Well today has been a long day! we found out today that Miss Allie Kate will be here Thursday! when I went to the doctor today my blood pressure was high and the doctor said I have mild preclampisa. He said my symptoms would only get worse. So with that being said she will be 4 weeks early. I'm excited in one way but nervous too. He did a ultrasound on her today and her lungs look good so that was good news. I'm just hoping and praying everything goes well Thursday. So if you think of us on Thursday say a little prayer for us we will need it!

4 weeks on bed rest!

Today marks 4 weeks I have been on bed rest. Its not been fun but I know its best for the baby and me. These last couple of weeks I can say for the first time in a long time I have been board! I guess when it comes to everyday life things get so crazy with cleaning, school routines, work, church... that you really don't have time to get board! I have started reading a series of books which has been a change. Sometimes I have thought in the past I want to read a good book, but I don't seem to have the time. perfect timing now. Also thanks to  netflix I have watched alot of my favorite movies that I have not seen in a while. You know the ones nobody in your family wants to see when they are on tv or whatever. Anyways today I go back to the doctor hopefully we will know something more... ( crossing my fingers) Have a great Monday!

Great friends and Family!

There are people you can just count on in life. They show up. Never ask to they just are there. I have been blessed with family and friends that  " show up" I have been thinking about how Im going to improve my "showing up" after I get well. I questioned am I a good friend? have I "showed up" for them when they needed it? I want to be that way. Sometimes life just gets in the way. Im the type I have alot of  "good" intentions. That sometimes never gets carried out.  I have had so many friends and family over lately that has helped with so many things that its just been unreal. They " show up" to clean, cook, bring in dinner, lunch to have a quick visit or spend the day with me to keep me company.. or keep me sane during the day on the phone when I know they are busy with there normal routines of there family but they take the time to blab with me over pointless stuff  just because they know im board out of my mind. Im blessed that's all there is to it. I think I have the best family and friends out there. So this post is to say thank you! I love yall so very much thanks for all you have done for me and my family.

Update~

Well went to the doctor this morning and my blood pressure was good so that is great news! On the other had I'm still on bed rest and my doctor is playing it by ear on what time/date she will be born. I still have to go to the doctor twice a week Monday's and Thursday's. He did give me permission to go to my baby shower yesterday which was alot of fun! It felt so good to act normal for a day! I really enjoyed it! We have one more shower but it will be after she gets here. I will have to post some pics of the shower on my next post they done a great job it was so cute! Well that's all for now. Goodnight

3 weeks as of today unless my blood.pressure gets worse! My doctor thinks it would be best to take her 3 weeks early! bedrest for me till then:(  but he did give me permission to go to my baby shower this Sunday so I am looking forward to that for sure. Other than that I now will be seeing my doctor twice a week till Miss Allie Kate gets here.... 6 weeks was what I have been banking on I thought! I have got to get some list going. Speaking of list I know this is way off subject but the movie "How Does She Do It" Is   such a funny movie for all you moms out there that multitask everyday you will love it.
